Free and partially funded business support
by

Headed up by Cheshire Business Doctor, Kevin Cook, the team of SME experts has landed themselves on the framework of experts for Cheshire & Warrington Growth Hub. It is the second such tender the consortium has been successful with in as many years.

“As a network, we can scale up and deliver support to as many businesses as is required. Within Business Doctors we have experts on everything from business development, to recruitment, tax issues and sales and marketing.”

The Business Doctors will now offer free and partially-funded business advice and support via the Growth Hub, on a one-to-one and workshop basis.

The four Business Doctors who took part in the successful bid are Kevin Cook (Cheshire) Mark Greenhalgh (South Cheshire), Gary Lowes (Warrington) and Mike Holmes (South Merseyside).

In 2014, the same team won a £100k contract with Liverpool Vision to deliver fully funded support to 101 local businesses.

Folllowing the termination of the Business Growth Service at the end of 2015, 39 Growth Hubs will now deliver Government and  European funded support for the SME sector in various locations throughout Britain.
