Business Doctors East Central and a team of otehr local cyclists have been raising money for a great local charity, East Anglian Childrens Hospices (EACH).  The challenge was 150 miles from London to Norwich in a single day.

A tough enough day’s riding in itself, but the journey was made even more of an epic by rain all day and unseasonably low temperatures – a maximum of 13C in mid-June!  The riders were all very cold by mid-afternoon, but no-one dropped out and they rode up the long woodland drive to Dunstall Hall near Norwich at 7.25pm, cold, wet but very proud.

The target for the team was to raise £6,000, which funds the charity for a single day.  At the time of writing, the target has been smashed, with the total exceeding £8,000 – and you can still donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/BusinessDoctorsCambridge/.

The picture shows the team at the halfway point at the EACH hospice in Milton, Cambridge, just before setting off for Norwich and after much-neeeded food and warmth.  Although the custom cycling jerseys have the Business Doctors logo on front and back, it’s hidden under all the wet weather gear!.
