Paul Shaw teams up with SEKEN to help Social Enterprises
by

Paul Shaw has teamed up with SEKEN (Social Enterprise Knowledge Exchange Network) to run a free workshop at St Mary’s University, Twickenham on Tuesday 5th December at 10.45am. The workshop is entitled “Ten steps to building a successful social enterprise”.

SEKEN is a joint venture between the Ruils charity and St Mary’s University, who have teamed up to create a network of individuals who are looking to start up their own social enterprise business and want to learn from each other and share best practice. Participants could be at the initial ideas stage, the planning stage or have already started their own business – the workshop and network are open to all!

The workshop will cover how to:

  • Establish the objectives you want to achieve

  • Assess your business environment including opportunities, threats, etc

  • Formulate and implement a strategy to get started

The workshop will be interactive with opportunities to share ideas and receive support from others and is open to anyone who is interested in using their skills to make money and help the community.
