New Service Set to Help Cambridge Businesses Striving for Success
by

A new service has launched in Cambridge with the sole aim of supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the region to achieve their vision for success. Business Doctors Cambridge has opened its doors, offering guidance and support in areas including business strategy, financial management, corporate marketing, IT and HR.

SMEs in the area will be able to utilise the expertise of the service, which is headed up by local businessman, Dominic Bowles. Dominic, 52, and the Business Doctors team will use their experience to coach local businesses, offering on-the-ground guidance and support in line with each client’s needs.

Outside of Business Doctors, Dominic can be found clocking up the miles on his bike. A keen mountain and road cyclist, Dominic is a member of CamMTB and St Ives Cycling Club. He also windsurfs at Grafham Water. Business Doctors Cambridge is part of a national business support network that includes more than 40 offices throughout the UK. In addition to hands-on business coaching, Business Doctors is aligned with government support programmes that can unlock funding that many SMEs are not aware they are entitled to.

Dominic is an approved and registered Growth Coach under the Government’s Growth Accelerator scheme.

Speaking about the launch of Business Doctors Cambridge, Dominic said: “I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to head up Business Doctors Cambridge and I am looking forward to helping local SMEs to reach their full potential through tailored, specialist mentoring and coaching.”

Business Doctors is headquartered in St Helens and was founded by Rod Davies and Matthew Levington in 2004. Co-founder, Rod Davies said: “We’re excited to announce the launch of our newest Business Doctors office in Cambridge. “Dominic’s business experience combined with his knowledge of the region made him a natural choice to head up Business Doctors Cambridge. He will be a real asset to the Business Doctors network and a first class mentor for SMEs in the city.” Businesses looking for guidance and support can meet Dominic at a variety of networking events in and around Cambridge, or contact him at dominicb@businessdoctors.co.uk or on 07713 075 715. Watch out for seminars and workshops that he will soon be presenting at www.businessdoctors.ie/east-central.
